The good old days of calling into a travel agents shop & them planning holidays for everyone have nearly faded away. With modern internet access giving everyone the power to source & arrange their own flights, accommodation & all the ancillary details, this is the age of do it yourself travel.  However 15+ years of answering questions on multiple Irish travel pages has shown that people do still need a wide range of informed & reliable help, this includes going beyond the advice which can be found on even the best travel forums.

Of course many people don't have the time or the desire to spend many hours of planning the finer details which a visit to Ireland requires - that is where we come in. Unlike  traditional travel agents who work on the commission gained from selling products such as hotel rooms & car hire, itinerary planners charge our clients a fixed fee. This means we have no vested interest in which accommodation, car hire or other item offers the best commission value, our only interest is in ensuring our clientele access to the best product and service available for their needs.

Basic help & advice at all levels is indeed readily available on the web. Some is free, some is at a cost (either directly or indirectly, some even hidden). Of course a proportion can be very good but some unfortunately can be misleading & possibly even ill informed or misguided. The point is that without the knowledge & experience, how do people sort the wheat from the chaff?   Here at T2P Ireland the aim is to do that for you, without busting the bank.
